Since September 1993, when it was founded by the Ana Monro theatre, until today, its mission has been to entertain the audience with short and explosive improvisations. Besides the regular championship matches, where different teams compete for the national champion title, Impro liga members also develop new formats for special occasions. ////Island is a feature-length improvised story, which takes its inspiration from one of the most popular and influential recent American television products: the controversial, both loved and hated series Lost. Following a plane crash, four individuals find themselves in a godforsaken wilderness. Characters, whose lives seem to be going on completely parallelly, are doing their best to escape from the island and the invisible force that keeps them there. But the more the story develops through the characters’ dilemmas, the more we reliase how their fates had long before been interwoven. www.impro-liga.si |
